The anointed cherub who covers (the Holy mountain of God, which is the throne) According to Job 1:6,7 and 2:1,2 Lucifer still has access to the throne of God. He and the other "sons of God" the angels, all present themselves before God. (Zech 3:1,2) They are accountable to God at all times. Lucifer had this access as a glorified son of God "until iniquity" was found in him. What lead to this beings expulsion from Gods throne? Isaiah 14:12-14 I WILL: 1) Ascend into heaven 2) Exalt my throne above the stars of God. These are the angels of God.( Job 38:7 Jude 13 Rev:1:20) 3) Sit on the mount of the congregation. Lucifer thought he would be exalted above the hills, teaching his ways and having the people walk in his paths. 4) Ascend above the heights of the clouds (which are above the mercy seat, the ark of the covenant. Lev 16:2) 5) I will be like the most high. An imitator, who disguises himself as an angel of light.

Growing up in church we learned that Lucifer was satans name and he was the "anointed cherub that covered." Sound familiar? It is believed before he "fell" from heaven his "job" was music and he was in charge of the choir. How did they get this wrong? Who taught this misnomer? Who are better yet what is satan, the devil aka Lucifer? Why is he here on earth? Why does he keep enticing mankind to sin? These are some of the questions that we will attempt to answer by giving you scripture in context. No need to be embarrassed because I too thought for over 40 years that scripture was right. Whenever theres a mist in the pulpit there will always be a FOG in the pew! Hosea 4:6 plainly revealed that our problem is not satan but ignorance of YHVHs Word. The language, right translation and the historical facts are crucial at arriving to The Truth! This prophet declared YHVHS aka Gods people would be destroyed for their lack of knowledge and since theyve rejected knowledge YHVH would reject them and their children from being priest unto Him. In the 1950s a group of protestant scholastics endorsed a system called Proof Texting. They taught that the Word of God was and is in itself His Word irrespective of context. By the 1800s John Nelson Darby "raised Proof Texting to an art" and it wasnt long before every theological seminary used this method of studying Gods word. We are ALL guilty of this tragic dilemma. We open the Bible find a scripture perhaps by word association and then TEACH it! Wrong, Wrong Wrong! It is a known fact all doctrinal error is one of three things. a.)Its either truth perverted; b.) truth disproportionately held and taught; c) or truth divided wrong." Such is the tragedy of most religions particularly christianity. Most Pastors, Evangelist and Teachers (PET) believe Isaiah 14:12 & Ezekiel 28:14 is a description of satan. Check it out!
